Información importante

Are tickets included?

The ticket transfer to Berlenga Grande, the Boat Tour ticket to the caves and the ticket for the Walking Tour are all included and will be provided by the guide. Óbidos doesn't have entrance ticket. No other ticket or entrance fees are included in this tour.

What is your cancellation policy?

We are cool but not that cool. The paid amount can be refunded at 100% if the customer wants to cancel up to 24 hours before the tour. If a cancellation is made less than the 24h period it is non-refundable. In case of no show / cancellation in the same day, the amount will not be refunded.

I have one (or more) infants. Can we still do the tour?

There is absolutely no problem! Up to 3 years old it’s completely free and between 4 to 12 they have a 20% discount. Logistically speaking we just have to know in advance to make the necessary arrangements.

I/my relative(s) have a physical disability or walking limitation. Can we avoid rides that have extensive hiking paths?

In this especific Berlengas & Óbidos FULL DAY if you have physical disability or walking limitation we recommend to avoid the walking tour in the Island, and stay at the beach/dock area. The level of difficulty is EASY

Is there a minimum and maximum number of passengers?

Yes, we have a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 8 for our regular van tours. Sometimes more than one van can go to the same destination, but our goal is to keep small groups for greater closeness and interaction with the client. In exceptional cases we may operate with a 16/18 seat minibus during high season peaks.

Is there Hotel pick-up and drop-off?

No. If Pick-up option is selected we can provide Hotel Pick-up. If not selected the meeting point is at Praça da Figueira (at 08:00, in front of D. João I statue). The drop-off is always at Marquês de Pombal Square. In exceptional cases (determined by authorities) the meeting point and the drop-off will be done in other locations.

The West of Portugal is a kind of time capsule where you can find a bit of everything. It is precisely there that we discover one of the most beautiful and paradisiacal places in Portugal. Declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2011, the Berlengas Archipelago is one of the most challenging places to access due to its protection and limited entry to preserve its natural characteristics. Comprising three small islets, we propose a visit to the largest, Berlenga Grande, an authentic paradise in its natural state marked by crystal-clear waters, reddish soil, coveted caves, unique vegetation, including the Berlengas Sea Pink, and the absence of vehicles or permanent inhabitants. Once a monastery was built there, an idea quickly abandoned, and later a fortress was also erected (its red color allowing it to blend in from a certain distance) to face the invasions that plagued the Portuguese coasts over the centuries. Another highlight of Portugal's West is the medieval village of Óbidos with its famous castle and winding, narrow, and colorful streets. This village, once belonging to the Queens of Portugal, retains its medieval charm and viewpoints with breathtaking vistas. We propose that you let yourself be enchanted by the ancient village of Óbidos, discovering its corners filled with history and monuments that have contributed to the affirmation of the very particular identity of this beautiful and picturesque village over the centuries. If a trip to the West is a must on any journey to Portugal, visiting the Berlengas and the village of Óbidos is certainly the highlight of any experience in this region of the country. Fasten your seatbelts and welcome to paradise!
